A different version of the popular Italian dessert "Tiramisu." The recipe is a decent way for using cake or biscuit leftovers. Besides, its totally plant-based and also an easy, healthy choice.

 You will need;

Lotus biscuit or cake pieces - 2 Cups strong coffee.

For the Cream;

4 Cups coconut, almond,or soy milk - 5 Tbsp cornstarch  - 1/4 Cup honey, or 4 Tbsp maple syrup  - 1 Tsp vanilla 

For Garnish; 

Cocoa powder  - Shredded coconut.

Method;

Start by making the vanilla cream. In a sauce pan, put the milk, cornstarch, honey, and vanilla. Stir well untill cornstarch has completely dissolved. Set the pan over medium heat, and keep stirring until it thickens. Remove and let aside to cool, and when you are ready to use it, simply stir it again. In the serving bowls, arrange the biscuits in the bottom of the cup, drizzle the coffee over the biscuit. Stir the cream and add about 1 or 2 Tbsp. Arrange a couple of biscuits, drizzle the coffee, and add the cream. Repeat the steps untill the bowl in nearly full. Cover the cream by sprinkling cocoa powder on top, and finally garnish with shredded coconut. Serve cool.
