1 Kilo Shish Tawook Chicken

3 Cups White Egyptian Rice, washed and drained

1 Littre Whole Milk

250g Fresh Peas

1 Big Carrot cut into small squares

1 Tbsp size Fresh Cream


1 Tbsp Salt 

1 Tsp Pepper

1/4 Tsp Ground Cardamom 

1 Tsp 7 Syrian Spices

A Pinch Of Nutmeg

Method :

Preheat the oven to 200*c

In a large plastic bowl, put the rice, peas, carrots, and the shish tawook, add the Seasonings and stir well. Transfer the rice to an ovenproof tajin and add the milk, and stir well.

Dole out small pieces of fresh cream on top of the dish, cover and transfer to the oven for about an hour and a half.

After one hour check on it and obseerve the rice and chicken. If not yet fully cooked give it another half an hour.

When its done and fully cooked, you can leave it under the grill to brown the top, or simply serve it as it is.

Serve it hot besides your favourite salad, or as an extra dish besides your meal dishes.
