What I love the most about this recipe is the simple steps in preparing, then you put it together and voilà, you have presentable dish to offer your family and friends. 

Ingredients: 

1 Cup blanched almonds  / 2 Cups Egyptian Rice.

Meat Ingredients: 

3-4 Tbsp Ghee  / 1 Cup Cherry tomatoes halfed  / 1 Kilo Veal Shawerma  / 500g Peas / 1 Tsp Shawerma spices / Bay leave / 1 cinnamon stick/ / 2 Onions, finely diced / 4 Garlic cloves / 1 Tsp Salt / 1/2 Tsp Pepper / 1 Tsp 7 Syrian spices / 1 Tbsp Red vinegar  / 1/2 Cup Boiling Water.

Flavourings of Peas Water :

1 Tsp Salt / 1 Tsp Cumin seeds  / Pinch of Nutmeg  / 1/4 Tsp Ground Cardamom

Method :

In a medium pan over medium heat, fry the almonds until golden, and set aside on a seperate plate. In the same pan, lightly fry the meat until browned, then add the rest of the ingredients. 

Meanwhile, In another saucepan pan, bring the water to a boil with the peas flavouring, then add the peas until softens. 

In a rice pan, Lightly fry the rice in ghee, season, and add 2 cups of peas water. Bring to a boil, and just before the rice absorbes all the water, simmer over low heat. 

Prepare the shape dish. First put the almonds, then the peas, 1/2 the rice, meat, then the rest of the rice. 

Flip the plate on a serving dish and serve it hot beside salad.
