Sourdough Pancakes
Order must be 10 days in advance. Makes around 16 pancakes.
The Fluffier pancakes you will ever experience. I was making Sourdough Bread, and every day after feeding the dough, some of the dough are being left and discarded; so I collect the every day discard and keep it in the fridge in a jar to reuse it in a recipe. And so I used them in pancakes. Light fluffy taste than the usual pancakes, that you can't resist stopping.
Ingredients:
2 Cups of sourdough starter - 2 Tbsp Melted butter or coconut oil - 2 Tbsp honey or molasses - 2 Eggs - 1 Tsp baking powder - 1 Tsp baking soda - 1/2 Tsp salt - Ghee or Oil.
Method:
Prepare your desired fruit plate in keep in the fridge for serving time.
As shown in the video, add the ingredients by order. First prepare 2 cups of sourdough starter and put it ina bowl. Then add the butter, honey, eggs, baking powder and baking soda, and salt. Mix well to combine. Grease a big flat pan with ghee, and set it on medium heat. and using an ice-cream scoop, pour the amount on the hot pan. Wait until the edges are browned and flip on the other side. Transfer the ready ones to a serving dish, and when done, serve beside your prepared fruit plate with your favorite tea.
